Types of Waste

Master Mini Bins accept different types of waste in the skip bins. Prices differ according to waste type, so it's important to identify which type of waste you have, as you don't want to pay too much, or be lumbered with an extra bill!

Here are the different types of waste categories we accept in our skip bins. We'll tell you what you can, and cannot put in each waste type:

GENERAL WASTE (Skip bins for general / light household / domestic / commercial waste): 

ACCEPTED: Metal, wood, plastic, fabric, electrical, toys, clothes, furniture, tools, appliances, green waste, light building materials.

NOT ACCEPTED: Bricks, concrete, pavers, tiles, sand, dirt, mulch or similar, carpet, chipboard, fibre cement board, tree stumps, logs, sleepers, rocks, stones, any other heavy building materials, asbestos, chemicals, liquids, food, toxic waste, flammable waste. 

MIXED WASTE (Skip bins for general / light household / domestic / commercial waste plus some heavier materials such as concrete, bricks, pavers, dirt): 

ACCEPTED: Metal, wood, plastic, fabric, electrical, toys, clothes, furniture, tools, appliances, green waste, light building materials, small amounts of bricks, concrete, rocks, stones, mulch, tiles.

NOT ACCEPTED: Asbestos, chemicals, liquids, food, toxic waste, flammable waste, soil / sand. 

GREEN WASTE (Skip bins for green waste only):

ACCEPTED: Weeds, grass, tree clippings, leaves, twigs, prunings, light branches.

NOT ACCEPTED: General waste, bricks, concrete, pavers, tiles, sand, dirt, mulch or similar, fibre cement board, tree stumps, logs, sleepers, rocks, stones, any other heavy building materials, asbestos, chemicals, liquids, food, toxic waste, flammable waste. 

CLEAN CONCRETE / MASONRY (Skip bins for concrete, bricks, pavers, rocks, masonry only):
ACCEPTED: Bricks, concrete, tiles, pavers, rocks, stones, ceramics. 

NOT ACCEPTED: General waste, green waste, dirt, sand, mulch or similar, fibre cement board, tree stumps, logs, sleepers, asbestos, chemicals, liquids, food, toxic waste, flammable waste. 

CLEAN FILL (Skip bins for clean fill only): 

ACCEPTED: Dirt / Soil / Sand

NOT ACCEPTED: General waste, green waste, mulch or similar, concrete, bricks, pavers, tiles, fibre cement board, tree stumps, logs, sleepers, asbestos, chemicals, liquids, food, toxic waste, flammable waste. 

UNCLEAN FILL (Skip bins for dirt /green / masonry): 

ACCEPTED: Dirt / soil, concrete, bricks, pavers, tiles, rocks, stones, mulch, sand, green waste, untreated wood.

NOT ACCEPTED: General waste, fibre cement board, sleepers, asbestos, chemicals, liquids, food, toxic waste, flammable waste. 

Although the following items can be placed in the mini bin they will attract additional charges and must be placed on top of the loaded bin but must avoid overloading, all waste including these items must be fully contained in the bin:-

Tyres: $35 (truck tyres & larger will not be accepted)

Mattresses: $35

Gas bottles: $35

The following items MUST NOT be placed in the mini bin:-

Asbestos / food waste / sharps / animal waste or soiled nappies / explosives / fireworks / oils & lubricants / paints & dyes / acids & alkalines / resins / adhesives / caustic substances / chlorine or similar chemicals

Bin Placement - if your driveway is not well constructed and is not built to cope with heavy vehicles an alternative placement may need to be considered because we cannot take any responsibility for driveway damage. The bin must be placed on your property unless you obtain council approval to place it on the road or footpath etc and the approval notice must be produced and shown to us before the bin is left on this site.

Delivery & Pick Up Information – The cost of the mini bin includes the hire for up to five days although if you require the bin for a longer period of time this can be negotiated at the time of booking.

Payment Details – Full payment must be made before collection of the bin and can be made by cash, direct deposit, or card over the phone.
